A search for quiet places in the city
often reveals tiny courtyards tucked away
in between the skyscrapers.

The northern entrance to this courtyard is lined with
a maze of 2-inch thick, 7-foot high sculpted glass panels,
which affect the acoustics in very subtle but audible ways.

Were these intentionally designed to reflect sound
or create acoustic 'shadows' across the cobblestones?
